Article R57-2 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Each year, the sentence enforcement judge sends the Minister of Justice a report on the enforcement of sentences in his jurisdiction. This report is also sent to the adviser responsible for the enforcement of sentences and to the public prosecutor. In addition, the enforcement judge presents it orally to the general assembly of judges and prosecutors.

Chaque année, le juge de l’application des peines adresse au ministre de la justice un rapport sur l’application des peines dans son ressort. Ce rapport est également transmis au conseiller chargé de l’application des peines et au procureur général. En outre, le juge de l’application des peines le présente oralement à l’assemblée générale des magistrats du siège et du parquet.
