Article R5723-1 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

For the application of article L. 5721-8, the maximum allowances voted by the deliberative bodies of mixed syndicates exclusively associating municipalities, public establishments for inter-municipal cooperation, departments and regions for the effective exercise of the functions of chairman or vice-chairman are determined by applying the following scale to the amount of the salary corresponding to the terminal gross index of the civil service index scale:

Pour l’application de l’article L. 5721-8, les indemnités maximales votées par les organes délibérants des syndicats mixtes associant exclusivement des communes, des établissements publics de coopération intercommunale, des départements et des régions pour l’exercice effectif des fonctions de président ou de vice-président sont déterminées en appliquant au montant du traitement correspondant à l’indice brut terminal de l’échelle indiciaire de la fonction publique le barème suivant :
