Article R6111-18 of the French Public Health Code

The provisions of this section apply to health care organisations with an in-house pharmacy and to health cooperation groups managing an in-house pharmacy which provide their own sterilisation of medical devices, whether they subcontract it to another health care organisation with an in-house pharmacy or another health cooperation group managing an in-house pharmacy, or entrust it to a third party.

Les dispositions de la présente section sont applicables aux établissements de santé disposant d’une pharmacie à usage intérieur et aux groupements de coopération sanitaire gérant une pharmacie à usage intérieur qui assurent par leurs propres moyens la stérilisation de leurs dispositifs médicaux, qu’ils la sous-traitent à un autre établissement de santé disposant d’une pharmacie à usage intérieur ou un autre groupement de coopération sanitaire gérant une pharmacie à usage intérieur, ou la confient à un tiers.
