Article R612-26 of the French Intellectual Property Code

Delegates of the Minister of Defence, specially empowered for this purpose and whose names and capacities have been brought to the attention of the Director of the National Institute of Industrial Property and Minister responsible for industrial property by the Minister of Defence, shall inspect on the premises of the National Institute of Industrial Property the patent applications filed, including where these are filed in the form of a provisional application, and where applicable any additional documents submitted as long as the authorisation provided for in Article L. 612-9 n’est pas acquise.

These shall be presented to them within a period of fifteen days from the date of their receipt at the National Institute of Industrial Property.

Des délégués du ministre de la défense, spécialement habilités à cet effet et dont les noms et qualités ont été portés à la connaissance du directeur de l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle et ministre chargé de la propriété industrielle par le ministre de la défense prennent connaissance dans les locaux de l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle des demandes de brevet déposées, y compris lorsque celles-ci sont déposées sous la forme d’une demande provisoire, et le cas échéant de toute pièce complémentaire présentée tant que l’autorisation prévue à l’article L. 612-9 n’est pas acquise.

Celles-ci leur sont présentées dans le délai de quinze jours à compter de la date de leur réception à l’Institut national de la propriété industrielle.
