Article R6134-1 of the French Public Health Code

Private not-for-profit health care institutions and public health care institutions may engage in international cooperation activities with public and private entities operating in the same field as their own, provided that public health care institutions and private institutions of collective interest guarantee the continuity of the public hospital service. In application of article L. 6134-1, each cooperation action is the subject of a cooperation agreement which complies with the contract of objectives and resources referred to in article L. 6114-2. In particular, this agreement specifies the exchange and training arrangements for medical and non-medical staff.

Article R6134-1

Les établissements de santé privés à but non lucratif et les établissements publics de santé peuvent engager des actions de coopération internationale, avec des personnes de droit public et de droit privé intervenant dans le même domaine que le leur, sous réserve pour les établissements publics de santé et les établissements de santé privés d’intérêt collectif de garantir la continuité du service public hospitalier. En application de l’article L. 6134-1, chaque action de coopération fait l’objet d’une convention de coopération qui respecte le contrat d’objectifs et de moyens mentionné à l’article L. 6114-2. Cette convention précise notamment les modalités d’échange et de formation des personnels médicaux et non médicaux.
