I. – The nursing, re-education and medico-technical care committee is chaired by the general coordinator of nursing, re-education and medico-technical care. It is made up of elected representatives from the various categories of staff involved in implementing nursing, rehabilitation and medico-technical care.
The elected representatives form three colleges:
1° College of health managers ;
2° College of nursing, re-education and medico-technical staff;
3° College of nursing assistants.
Each of the three colleges is represented by a number of members which may not be less than 10% of the total number of elected members of the commission.
II. – The following attend meetings of the Commission in an advisory capacity:
a) The director(s) of care assisting the general coordinator of nursing, re-education and medico-technical care;
b) The directors of care responsible for the paramedical training institutes and schools attached to the establishment;
c) A third-year student representative appointed by the director of the establishment on the recommendation of the director of the paramedical training institute or the directors of the training institutes if more than one is attached to the establishment;
d) A student care assistant appointed by the director of the establishment on the recommendation of the director of the training institute or school or the directors of the training institutes or schools if there are several of them attached to the establishment;
e) A representative of the establishment’s medical committee.
Any qualified person may be involved in the work of the committee at the initiative of the chairman or one third of its members.
