Article R615-9 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The chairman of the joint conciliation commission provided for in Article L. 615-21 is appointed for a renewable period of three years, by order of the Minister of Justice and the Minister responsible for industrial property. An honorary magistrate may be appointed.

One or more alternates may be appointed under the same conditions. They replace the chairman in the event of absence or impediment.

Le président de la commission paritaire de conciliation prévue à l’article L. 615-21 est nommé pour une période de trois années renouvelable, par arrêté du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, et du ministre chargé de la propriété industrielle. La nomination peut porter sur un magistrat honoraire.

Un ou plusieurs suppléants peuvent être nommés dans les mêmes conditions. Ils remplacent le président en cas d’absence ou d’empêchement.
