Article R6152-319 of the French Public Health Code

The term of office for members of the Disciplinary Board is four years. When the members of a section are renewed during the course of an electoral cycle, the staff representatives are elected for the term remaining before the general renewal.

The term of office may exceptionally be reduced or extended, for a reason of general interest, by order of the Director General of the Centre National de Gestion. This reduction or extension may not exceed one year.

When the Disciplinary Board is renewed, the new members take office on the date on which the term of office of the members they succeed ends, pursuant to the preceding provisions.

La durée du mandat des membres du conseil de discipline est de quatre ans. Lorsque les membres d’une section sont renouvelés en cours de cycle électoral, les représentants du personnel sont élus pour la durée restant à courir avant le renouvellement général.

La durée du mandat peut être exceptionnellement réduite ou prorogée, pour un motif d’intérêt général, par arrêté du directeur général du Centre national de gestion. Cette réduction ou prorogation ne peut excéder une durée de d’un an.

Lors du renouvellement du conseil de discipline, les nouveaux membres entrent en fonction à la date à laquelle prend fin, en application des dispositions précédentes, le mandat des membres auxquels ils succèdent.
