Article R6152-393 of the French Public Health Code

In the event of non-renewal which is not at the practitioner’s initiative, the decision is taken after a reasoned opinion from the chairman of the establishment’s medical committee and the head of the department, on a proposal from the head of the department or, failing that, the head of the internal structure to which the practitioner is assigned.

The director of the establishment shall notify the practitioner of his decision, by any means capable of providing a date certain, at least two months before the end of the current period.

En cas de non-renouvellement qui ne soit pas à l’initiative du praticien, la décision est prise après avis motivés du président de la commission médicale d’établissement et du chef de pôle, sur proposition du chef de service ou, à défaut, du responsable de la structure interne d’affectation du praticien.

Le directeur de l’établissement notifie sa décision au praticien, par tout moyen permettant de conférer date certaine, deux mois au moins avant l’échéance de la période en cours.
