Notwithstanding the provisions of 1° of article R. 6152-35, practitioners carrying out their duties in a public health establishment located in an overseas department, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Mayotte or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon benefit, for each period of three years of uninterrupted service in the establishment, from a bonus leave of thirty working days, including travel time, to travel to metropolitan France.
This leave must be taken in a single period following the annual leave for the year in respect of which it is granted. Any interruption of this leave will result in the loss of the remaining period.
Entitlement to bonus leave is acquired from the first day of the thirty-fifth month of uninterrupted service.
The leaves provided for in articles R. 6152-35 and R. 6152-49, with the exception of long-term leaves, do not interrupt the stays taken into account for the opening of the right to subsidised leave.
The outward and return travel expenses of the practitioner, his/her spouse and his/her dependent children within the meaning of Book V of the Social Security Code are reimbursed by the healthcare establishment to which he/she is assigned on the basis of the cost of air travel in the most economical class.
