When a practitioner working in an overseas department, Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin, Mayotte or Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon requests to accumulate his/her entitlement to training leave for two successive years, the training leave will give rise to reimbursement of the practitioner’s travel expenses on the basis of the cost of air travel in the most economical class, subject to approval of the training period by the Director General of the Regional Health Agency for French Guyana, the Director General of the Health Agency for Guadeloupe, Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency for La Réunion, the Director General of the Regional Health Agency for Mayotte or the Prefect of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
However, notwithstanding the provisions of the second paragraph of article R. 6152-49, the training leave due in respect of the year in which the practitioner benefits from a bonus leave may only be combined with this bonus leave.
