Voters for a section of the college of hospital practitioners are those practitioners who practise in the discipline corresponding to the section. For a section of the college of tenured teaching and hospital staff, staff working in the discipline corresponding to the section are eligible to vote. Employees on leave of absence are not eligible to vote.
Voter status is determined as follows:
1° On the day on which the ballot opens in the case of an election by electronic means over the Internet;
2° On the day on which the ballot closes in the case of an election by post.
The list of voters, by college and by voting section, is drawn up by the Director General of the Centre national de gestion. It shall be posted on the Centre’s website at least two months before the date of the ballot. The Director General shall take the necessary steps to ensure that the web page is protected from indexing by search engines.
Within eight days of publication, voters may check their entries and, where appropriate, submit applications for registration. Within the same period, and for three days after its expiry, complaints may be lodged against entries or omissions on the electoral roll. The Director General of the Centre national de gestion shall decide on any complaints without delay.
No changes may be made except in the event that a practitioner acquires or loses the status of elector no later than the day before the ballot. In such cases, registration or deletion is decided no later than the day before the ballot, either on the initiative of the administration or at the request of the person concerned.
Changes to the electoral list are immediately posted on the website of the Centre national de gestion.
