Article R621-14 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Autorité des marchés financiers shall have an accounting officer appointed by order of the Minister responsible for the budget.

The accounting officer shall be responsible for keeping the accounts of the Autorité des marchés financiers, collecting the fees and contributions referred to in Article L. 621-5-3 and all other revenues of the Autorité des marchés financiers, paying expenses and handling funds and cash account movements.

With the agreement of the Chairman, the Accounting Officer may, under his supervision, entrust cost and material accounting to the departments of the Autorité des marchés financiers.

The Accounting Officer may appoint agents who are approved by the President.

Article R621-14

L’Autorité des marchés financiers est dotée d’un agent comptable nommé par arrêté du ministre chargé du budget.

L’agent comptable est chargé de la tenue des comptabilités de l’Autorité des marchés financiers, du recouvrement des droits et contributions mentionnés à l’article L. 621-5-3 et de toutes autres recettes de l’Autorité des marchés financiers, du paiement des dépenses et du maniement des fonds et des mouvements de comptes de disponibilités.

Avec l’accord du président, l’agent comptable peut confier sous son contrôle la comptabilité analytique et la comptabilité matière aux services de l’Autorité des marchés financiers.

L’agent comptable peut nommer des mandataires qui sont agréés par le président.
