When the Minister for Defence so requests, the Minister for Health may, after obtaining the opinion of the National Medical Biology Commission, in its formation provided for in Article R. 6213-19, individually authorise the persons mentioned in 4° of Article L. 6213-2 who do not meet the conditions laid down in Article L. 6213-1 or in 1° of Article L. 6213-2 to practise as medical biologists. 6213-2 who do not meet the conditions laid down in Article L. 6213-1 or in 1° of Article L. 6213-2.
Authorisation to practise may only be granted to persons who hold either a doctorate in medicine or a university doctorate, or an engineering degree in a field relevant to the area of specialisation in biology concerned.
The authorisation to practise is granted in the area of specialisation of the laboratory concerned, for the period limited to the assignment of the doctor or pharmacist.
