Article R6223-8 of the French Public Health Code

The company operating a medical biology laboratory and the partners practising therein are subject to the laws and regulations governing the profession’s relationship with the health insurance scheme.

In particular, the provisions of the national agreement mentioned in Chapter II of Title VI of Book I of the Social Security Code governing relations with medical biologists apply to the company, insofar as they are applicable to a legal entity, as well as to each of the medical biologists practising within the company, for those provisions that relate to their activity.

The partners practising their profession within a company are in the same situation with regard to the national agreement applicable to their profession.

La société qui exploite un laboratoire de biologie médicale et les associés y exerçant leur profession sont soumis aux lois et des textes pris pour leur application régissant les rapports de la profession avec l’assurance maladie.

En particulier, les dispositions de la convention nationale mentionnée au chapitre II du titre VI du livre Ier du code de la sécurité sociale régissant les relations avec les biologistes médicaux s’appliquent à la société, dans la mesure où elles sont applicables à une personne morale, ainsi qu’à chacun des biologistes médicaux exerçant au sein de la société, pour celle des dispositions qui ont trait à leur activité.

Les associés exerçant leur profession au sein d’une société sont dans la même situation à l’égard de la convention nationale applicable à leur profession.
