Article R6323-27 of the French Public Health Code

Pregnant women presenting a pregnancy with a low risk of complications, in accordance with the criteria defined by the Haute Autorité de Santé’s recommendations for good professional practice drawn up in application of article L. 6323-4-4, may be cared for and give birth in a birthing centre.

Women with a multiple pregnancy or a scarred uterus cannot be cared for in a birth centre.

Peuvent être suivies en maison de naissance et y accoucher les femmes enceintes présentant une grossesse à faible risque de complication, selon les critères définis par les recommandations de bonnes pratiques professionnelles de la Haute Autorité de santé établies en application de l’article L. 6323-4-4.

Les femmes présentant une grossesse multiple ou un utérus cicatriciel ne peuvent pas être prises en charge en maison de naissance.
