Article R6323-28 of the French Public Health Code

Before registering, the birthing centre provides women wishing to be monitored and to give birth in a birthing centre with full information about how it works and the care it offers. It informs them of the compulsory nature of the pre-anaesthetic consultation organised by the maternity unit of the health establishment partnering the birth centre, in accordance with the procedures defined by the agreement drawn up between the two organisations.

At the time of registration, in accordance with the provisions of III of article L. 1110-4, the birthing centre obtains consent to the transmission to the maternity unit of the partner health establishment of the medical information required in the event of the transfer and care of the woman and her newborn child.

La maison de naissance délivre aux femmes souhaitant être suivies et accoucher en maison de naissance, préalablement à leur inscription, une information complète sur son fonctionnement et sur la prise en charge qu’elle propose. Elle les informe du caractère obligatoire de la consultation préanesthésique organisée par la maternité de l’établissement de santé partenaire de la maison de naissance, selon les modalités définies par la convention établie entre les deux structures.

La maison de naissance recueille lors de l’inscription, conformément aux dispositions du III de l’article L. 1110-4, le consentement à la transmission à la maternité de l’établissement de santé partenaire des informations médicales nécessaires en cas de transfert et de prise en charge de la femme et du nouveau-né.
