Article R713-10 of the French Labour Code

The elections take place on the same date for all electricity and gas companies. An industry-wide agreement sets the date of the elections.

Members of works councils or works councils and staff representatives are elected for three years. If, for any reason whatsoever, some of them are elected on a date other than that fixed in application of the first paragraph, their term of office ends at the time of the following general renewal.

Les élections ont lieu à la même date pour l’ensemble des entreprises électriques et gazières. Un accord de branche étendu fixe la date des élections.

Les membres des comités d’entreprise ou d’établissement et les délégués du personnel sont élus pour trois ans. Si, pour quelque cause que ce soit, certains sont élus à une autre date que celle fixée en application du premier alinéa, leur mandat prend fin lors du renouvellement général qui suit.
