During the week following that of the election of the newly elected judges, the public prosecutor invites the judges of the commercial court established at the seat of the court of appeal who have not yet exercised judicial functions in a commercial court to attend the hearing of the court of appeal to take the oath.
Where the seat of the commercial court is not established at the seat of the court of appeal, the public prosecutor at the judicial court within whose jurisdiction the commercial court has its seat invites judges who have not yet exercised judicial functions in a commercial court to attend the hearing of the judicial court to take the oath.
A record shall be drawn up of the taking of the oath.
The term of office of consular judges begins on 1 January of the calendar year following their election and ends on 31 December of the calendar year following the election of their successor.
