Article R7226-4 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

An order of the State representative sets, by application of the rules defined in article R. 7226-1, the list of organisations of all kinds represented on the Economic, Social, Environmental, Cultural and Educational Council, the number of their representatives and, where applicable, the specific procedures for their appointment.

The distribution of seats allocated to employee trade union organisations within the economic, social, environmental, culture and education council takes into account, in particular, their representativeness in Martinique, within the meaning of law no. 2008-789 of 20 August 2008 on the renovation of social democracy and the reform of working time.

Un arrêté du représentant de l’Etat fixe, par application des règles définies à l’article R. 7226-1, la liste des organismes de toute nature représentés au sein du conseil économique, social, environnemental, de la culture et de l’éducation, le nombre de leurs représentants et, le cas échéant, les modalités particulières de leur désignation.

La répartition des sièges attribués aux organisations syndicales de salariés au sein du conseil économique, social, environnemental, de la culture et de l’éducation tient compte notamment de leur représentativité en Martinique, au sens de la loi n° 2008-789 du 20 août 2008 portant rénovation de la démocratie sociale et réforme du temps de travail.
