Article R723-7 of the French Commercial code

The electoral college is informed, by an order of the prefect issued forty-five days before the date of the counting of the votes for the first ballot, of the date, time and place set for the counting and collation of the votes for the first and second ballots. A copy of this order is sent to each elector. A period of ten working days separates the counting dates for the two rounds of voting.

Le collège électoral est informé, par un arrêté du préfet pris quarante-cinq jours avant la date du dépouillement du premier tour de scrutin, de la date, de l’heure et du lieu fixés pour les opérations de dépouillement et de recensement des votes des premier et deuxième tours de scrutin. Une copie de cet arrêté est adressée à chaque électeur. Un délai de dix jours ouvrables sépare les dates de dépouillement des deux tours de scrutin.
