I. – Are applicable in the Wallis and Futuna Islands, subject to the adaptations provided for in II, the provisions of the articles mentioned in the left-hand column of the table below, in the wording indicated in the right-hand column of the same table:

II. – For the application of I:
1° Article R. 121-3 reads as follows:
“Art. R. 121-3. – When credit institutions, electronic money institutions, payment institutions and service providers processing euro and Pacific franc coins in their name and on their behalf on a professional basis deliver euro and Pacific franc coins to the public, these coins have first been sorted and checked using equipment that detects counterfeit or forged coins or coins that are not legal tender in the Wallis and Futuna Islands and separates them from genuine euro and Pacific franc coins.
” These devices are those of which one type has passed the tests carried out by the public institution La Monnaie de Paris and, where applicable, by the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer. This establishment and, where applicable, this Institute publish the list of types of equipment that have undergone a positive test, in particular on their website.” ;
2° Article R. 121-4 reads as follows:
“Art. R. 121-4. – When credit institutions, electronic money institutions and payment institutions pay coins in euros and Pacific francs to the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer, they shall enter into agreements with the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer, specifying in particular the conditions under which the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer may carry out documentary and on-site inspections.
” When credit institutions, electronic money institutions and payment institutions entrust the service providers referred to in Article R. 121-3 with all or part of the payment of euro and Pacific franc coins to the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer, these service providers shall first sign an agreement with the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer, in accordance with the conditions set out in the first paragraph.
” Coin payments must also comply with the packaging, payment and identification standards defined by the Institut d’émission d’outre-mer.
