Voters voting electronically are identified by means of an identifier and a password, transmitted to each voter in a way that guarantees confidentiality. The identifier and password are transmitted securely via two separate physical channels.
The identifier and password are supplemented by an authentication protocol based on a question, the answer to which is known only to the voter and the electronic Internet voting system.
A detailed information notice on the electoral process and the authentication protocol, together with the identifier enabling participation in the ballot, are sent to each voter at least three days before the first day of the ballot.
