Before the electronic vote opens, separate, confidential and strictly personal decryption keys are given, in a sealed envelope, to three of the members of the polling station. Each key is allocated in accordance with a procedure that guarantees that the recipients alone are aware of the secrecy associated with the key allocated to them personally.
The polling station seals the voting system, the voters’ list and the lists of candidates and checks their integrity.
It checks that the lists of voters are blank and that the electronic ballot box is empty. The electoral roll and the electronic ballot box are subject to a procedure that ensures that they can only be modified by the addition of an electoral roll and a dematerialised ballot paper from an elector who has been authenticated in a non-fraudulent manner. The voting system guarantees that no partial results are accessible during the voting process.
