Article R741-13 of the French Commercial code

Candidate declarations shall be delivered against receipt, or sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, no later than one month before the date on which the ballot opens, to the Chairman of the National Council.

No later than fifteen days before the opening date of the ballot, the president shall send to each voter and for each candidate a ballot paper containing the surname and first name of the candidate, the name of the registry of which he or she is an incumbent or employee, and possibly the words “invested by” followed by the name or initials of the professional organisation or trade union to which he or she belongs, provided that he or she provides proof at the time of his or her declaration of candidacy of the express authorisation of that organisation or trade union.

Les déclarations de candidature sont remises contre récépissé, ou adressées par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception, au plus tard un mois avant la date d’ouverture du scrutin, au président du Conseil national.

Quinze jours au plus tard avant la date d’ouverture du scrutin, le président adresse à chaque électeur et pour chaque candidat un bulletin de vote comprenant le nom et le prénom du candidat, le nom du greffe dont il est titulaire ou salarié, et éventuellement la mention ” investi par ” suivie du nom ou des initiales de l’organisation professionnelle ou du syndicat auquel il appartient à condition qu’il justifie lors de sa déclaration de candidature de l’autorisation expresse de cette organisation ou de ce syndicat.
