Article R743-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

On receipt of the application, the court clerk registers it and stamps it and any attachments with the date and time of receipt.
He immediately notifies by any means the administrative authority that ordered the detention, the public prosecutor, the foreign national and his or her lawyer, if any, of the day and time of the hearing set by the liberty and custody judge.

Dès réception de la requête, le greffier l’enregistre et y appose, ainsi que sur les pièces jointes, un timbre indiquant la date et l’heure de la réception.
Il avise aussitôt et par tout moyen l’autorité administrative qui a ordonné le placement en rétention, le procureur de la République, l’étranger et son avocat, s’il en a un, du jour et de l’heure de l’audience fixés par le juge des libertés et de la détention.
