The administrative detention centres are national in scope.
They receive, within the limits of their capacity and regardless of the geographical jurisdiction of the prefect who made the decision to detain, foreign nationals placed or kept in administrative detention regardless of where they reside or where they were arrested.

Les centres de rétention administrative ont une vocation nationale.
Ils reçoivent, dans la limite de leur capacité d’accueil et sans considération de la compétence géographique du préfet ayant pris la décision de placement en rétention, les étrangers placés ou maintenus en rétention administrative quel que soit le lieu de leur résidence ou de leur interpellation.
