Article R762-1 of the French Commercial code

The application for registration of an exhibition centre is sent electronically by its operator to the prefect of the département in which its facilities are located. If the exhibition centre and its outbuildings extend over several départements, registration is made with the département where the main access to the exhibition centre is located. An application is made for each park that constitutes an enclosed complex without direct and private access to another exhibition park.

The registration application file includes a declaration and supporting documents defined by an order of the minister responsible for trade.

La demande d’enregistrement d’un parc d’exposition est adressée par son exploitant au préfet du département où se trouvent ses installations par voie électronique. Si l’emprise du parc d’exposition et de ses dépendances s’étend sur plusieurs départements, l’enregistrement est réalisé auprès du département où est situé l’accès principal de ce parc d’exposition. Une demande est faite pour chaque parc qui constitue un ensemble clos sans accès direct et privatif vers un autre parc d’exposition.

Le dossier de demande d’enregistrement comporte une déclaration et des pièces justificatives définies par un arrêté du ministre chargé du commerce.
