Article R822-3 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The amount of the lump-sum contribution representing the costs of removing the foreign national from French territory provided for in article L. 822-2 is set by order of the Minister for Immigration and the Minister for the Budget, based on the average cost of removal operations to the geographical area to which the employee is being removed, within the limit prescribed in article L. 822-3.

Le montant de la contribution forfaitaire représentative des frais d’éloignement de l’étranger du territoire français prévue à l’article L. 822-2 est fixé par arrêté du ministre chargé de l’immigration et du ministre chargé du budget, en fonction du coût moyen des opérations d’éloignement vers la zone géographique à destination de laquelle est éloigné le salarié, dans la limite prescrite à l’article L. 822-3.
