The period of validity of an employee’s professional identification card is determined as follows:
1° For employees of the companies mentioned in the first and fourth paragraphs of article R. 8291-1, the period of validity of the card is that of the employee’s contract of employment with the company or, in the event of a succession of contracts, the total duration of these contracts ;
2° For temporary workers employed by a temporary employment agency established in France, the card is valid for five years;
3° For workers seconded to France by a service-providing company established abroad, including temporary workers, the period of validity of the card is that of their secondment.
