Article R8293-2 of the French Labour Code

The employer referred to in the third paragraph of article R. 8291-1 shall make a declaration to the union of funds referred to in article R. 8291-2 for each employee seconded to France, prior to the secondment, in order to obtain a professional identification card.

Before making the declaration provided for in the previous paragraph, the employer shall inform the employee of the transmission of personal data concerning him/her to the union of funds mentioned in Article R. 8291-2.

Article R8293-2

L’employeur mentionné au troisième alinéa de l’article R. 8291-1 effectue pour chaque salarié détaché en France, préalablement au détachement, une déclaration auprès de l’union des caisses mentionnée à l’article R. 8291-2, afin d’obtenir une carte d’identification professionnelle.

Avant d’effectuer la déclaration prévue à l’alinéa précédent, l’employeur informe le salarié de la transmission des données à caractère personnel le concernant à l’union des caisses mentionnée à l’article R. 8291-2.
