Article R8295-1 of the French Labour Code

Within the union of funds mentioned in article R. 8291-2 , an automated processing system for personal information is created, called the “Professional Identification Card Information System” (SI-CIP), the purpose of which is to issue the professional identification card and to manage and monitor the related system.

An order issued by the Minister for Employment, after consultation with the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL), sets out the terms and conditions of the computerised processing of information relating to employees, employers and user companies mentioned in article R. 8295-2.

Il est créé au sein de l’union des caisses mentionnée à l’article R. 8291-2 un traitement automatisé d’informations à caractère personnel dénommé “ Système d’information de la carte d’identification professionnelle ” (SI-CIP), ayant pour finalité la délivrance de la carte d’identification professionnelle, la gestion et le suivi du dispositif afférent.

Un arrêté du ministre chargé du travail pris après avis de la Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés détermine les modalités du traitement informatisé des informations relatives aux salariés, aux employeurs et aux entreprises utilisatrices mentionnées à l’article R. 8295-2.
