Article R831-2 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

For the application of this book in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Reunion, Mayotte and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon:
1° In Article R. 810-1, the reference to Article R. 812-1 is deleted;
2° Article R. 812-1 is not applicable;
3° Article R. 821-2 reads as follows:

“Art. R. 821-2.-The services competent to carry out the controls referred to in the second paragraph of Article L. 821-7 are the territorial formation of the national gendarmerie based in the community or, in the absence of such services, the customs services under the authority of the State”;

3° L’article R. 821-2 est ainsi rédigé :

” Art. R. 821-2.-Les services compétents pour procéder aux contrôles mentionnés au second alinéa de l’article L. 821-7 sont la formation territoriale de la gendarmerie nationale implantée dans la collectivité ou, en l’absence de tels services, les services des douanes relevant de l’Etat ” ;
