Article 1209 of the French Code of civil procedure

The decisions of the judge or the court may be appealed by:

1° The persons to whom the judgment has been notified until the expiry of a period of fifteen days following the notification given to them;

2° The public prosecutor until the expiry of a period of fifteen days following the delivery of the notice given to him.

Les décisions du juge ou du tribunal peuvent être frappées d’appel par :

1° Les personnes auxquelles le jugement a été notifié jusqu’à l’expiration d’un délai de quinze jours suivant la notification qui leur en est faite ;

2° Le ministère public jusqu’à l’expiration d’un délai de quinze jours suivant la remise de l’avis qui lui a été donné.
