Article 132-3 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Committee members may not take part in the deliberations if they have a direct or indirect interest in the subject of those deliberations.
If a committee member is in a conflict of interest situation with regard to a matter on the agenda of a committee meeting, he/she must withdraw from the meeting for the adoption of the resolution on that matter.

Les membres des commissions ne peuvent prendre part aux délibérations lorsqu’ils ont un intérêt direct ou indirect à l’objet de ces délibérations.
Lorsqu’un membre d’une commission se trouve dans une situation de conflit d’intérêts dans une affaire figurant à l’ordre du jour d’une séance de la commission, il est tenu de se déporter pour l’adoption de la délibération portant sur cette affaire.
