Article 133-7 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

In order to complete its examination of the dossiers submitted for its opinion, the Commission may, on the decision of its Chairman and with the authorisation of the Chairman of the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, hear any qualified external person whose opinion may help to clarify its deliberations.
Qualified persons may not under any circumstances take part in the Commission’s debates or votes.

Article 133-7

Pour compléter l’examen des dossiers qui sont soumis à son avis, la commission peut, sur décision de son président et après autorisation du président du Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée, entendre toute personnalité extérieure qualifiée dont l’audition est de nature à éclairer ses délibérations.
Les personnalités qualifiées ne peuvent en aucun cas participer aux débats et aux votes de la commission.
