Article 135-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Any arrest warrant or search warrant is entered in the wanted persons file at the request of the investigating judge or public prosecutor. When the person is referred to the trial court by a decision that has become res judicata, the file manager is informed so that the provisions of article 135-2.

Article 135-3

Tout mandat d’arrêt ou de recherche est inscrit, à la demande du juge d’instruction ou du procureur de la République, au fichier des personnes recherchées. Lorsque la personne est renvoyée devant la juridiction de jugement par une décision passée en force de chose jugée, le gestionnaire du fichier en est informé pour qu’il soit le cas échéant fait application, s’il s’agit d’un mandat d’arrêt, des dispositions de l’article 135-2.
