Article 178-2 of the French Code of civil procedure

Where an investigative measure ordered abroad pursuant to the regulation referred to in Article 178-1 is likely to give rise to interpreting costs during its execution by the requested court, the judge shall fix the amount of the advance on such costs in accordance with the procedures laid down in Articles 269,270 and 271 du présent code.

On receipt of the request for reimbursement of the amount of the interpreting costs by the requesting court, the court registry shall proceed with payment up to the amount of the sums deposited.

Article 178-2

Lorsqu’une mesure d’instruction ordonnée à l’étranger en application du règlement mentionné à l’article 178-1 est susceptible d’engendrer des frais d’interprétariat lors de son exécution par la juridiction requise, le juge fixe le montant de la provision à valoir sur ces frais suivant les modalités prévues par les articles 269,270 et 271 du présent code.

Dès réception de la demande de remboursement du montant des frais d’interprétariat par la juridiction requérante, le greffe procède au règlement jusqu’à concurrence des sommes consignées.
