Article 195 of the French Code of civil procedure

The parties questioned sign the minutes, after reading them, or certify them as true to their statements, in which case a note to this effect is made in the minutes. Where appropriate, it shall be stated in the minutes that the parties refuse to sign or certify it as true.

The minutes are also dated and signed by the judge and, if applicable, by the court clerk.

Les parties interrogées signent le procès-verbal, après lecture, ou le certifient conforme à leurs déclarations auquel cas mention en est faite au procès-verbal. Le cas échéant, il y est indiqué que les parties refusent de le signer ou de le certifier conforme.

Le procès-verbal est en outre daté et signé par le juge et, s’il y a lieu, par le greffier.
