Article 2-25 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Any association that has been duly registered for at least five years on the date of the incident and whose statutory purpose includes the fight against violence, insults, defamation, moral harassment, hate speech or the disclosure of information of which the victims are public servants may exercise the rights granted to civil parties in respect of intentional attacks on life and limb, hate speech or the disclosure of information against public service employees may exercise the rights granted to civil parties in respect of intentional attacks on life and limb and assaults and other attacks, abductions and kidnappings punishable by articles 221-1 à 221-5-5,222-1 à 222-18-3,222-22 à 222-33-1,223-1-1 et 224-1 to 224-5-2 of the Penal Code, if it proves that it has received the consent of the victim or, if the victim is an adult under guardianship, of his or her legal representative.

Toute association régulièrement déclarée depuis au moins cinq ans à la date des faits et dont l’objet statutaire comporte la lutte contre les violences, les injures, les diffamations, le harcèlement moral, les discours de haine ou la divulgation d’informations dont sont victimes les agents chargés d’une mission de service public peut exercer les droits reconnus à la partie civile en ce qui concerne les atteintes volontaires à la vie et à l’intégrité de la personne et les agressions et autres atteintes, enlèvements et séquestrations réprimés par les articles 221-1 à 221-5-5,222-1 à 222-18-3,222-22 à 222-33-1,223-1-1 et 224-1 à 224-5-2 du code pénal, si elle justifie avoir reçu l’accord de la victime ou, si cette dernière est un majeur sous tutelle, de son représentant légal.
