Article 211-101 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

The granting of aid is the subject of two decisions:
1° A provisional decision accepting the principle of granting aid. To obtain this decision, the application must be submitted either by the author of the screenplay, the director or any other co-author of a cinematographic work, or by the delegated production company;
2° A definitive award decision after setting the amount of aid. To obtain this decision, the application must be submitted by the delegated production company.

Article 211-101

L’attribution d’une aide fait l’objet de deux décisions :
1° Une décision provisoire retenant le principe de l’attribution d’une aide. Pour l’obtention de cette décision, la demande est présentée soit par l’auteur du scénario, le réalisateur ou tout autre coauteur d’une œuvre cinématographique, soit par l’entreprise de production déléguée ;
2° Une décision d’attribution à titre définitif après fixation du montant de l’aide. Pour l’obtention de cette décision, la demande est présentée par l’entreprise de production déléguée.
