The bonus coefficient is applied in the light of the efforts made by exhibitors to promote quality arthouse programming, train and develop audience loyalty, and organise events around their arthouse programming, in relation to the material resources at their disposal and the cultural offer available in the area of influence of the establishment in question.
This assessment is based in particular on the following criteria:
1° The demographics and sociology of the local population;
2° The cinematographic environment;
3° The entertainment policy pursued by the exhibitor;
4° Networking in small towns;
5° Outreach work, particularly with regard to school audiences and the elderly;
6° Joint operations with local cultural institutions;
7° The quality of audience information;
8° The organisation of themed evenings and festivals;
9° The number of screenings in the original version organised within establishments in the second group;
10° The number of arthouse cinematographic works programmed;
11° The number of cinematographic works and screenings organised with arthouse cinematographic works meeting the conditions set, for each label, by the articles 231-23 to 231-25;
12° The policy for screening short-lived cinematographic works;
13° The diversity of programming.
