Après avoir, s’il y a lieu, informé l’accusé de son droit d’être assisté par un interprète, le président l’interroge sur son identité et s’assure que celui-ci a reçu notification de la décision de mise en accusation ou, en cas d’appel, de l’arrêt de désignation de la cour d’assises d’appel.
