Article 313 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The Public Prosecutor shall, in the name of the law, make any submissions that he or she considers useful: the court is required to take note of them and to deliberate on them.

The public prosecutor’s submissions made in the course of the debates are recorded by the court clerk in his minutes. All decisions to which they give rise are signed by the President and by the Registrar.

Le ministère public prend, au nom de la loi, toutes les réquisitions qu’il juge utiles : la cour est tenue de lui en donner acte et d’en délibérer.

Les réquisitions du ministère public prises dans le cours des débats sont mentionnées par le greffier sur son procès-verbal. Toutes les décisions auxquelles elles ont donné lieu sont signées par le président et par le greffier.
