Article 343 bis of the French Customs Code

The judicial authority shall communicate to the customs administration any information it obtains in the course of any legal proceedings which may give rise to a presumption that a customs offence has been committed or that any manoeuvre whatsoever has been used for the purpose of, or with the result of, evading or compromising the recovery of duties or taxes provided for in this Code.

Article 343 bis

L’autorité judiciaire communique à l’administration des douanes toute information qu’elle recueille, à l’occasion de toute procédure judiciaire, de nature à faire présumer une infraction commise en matière douanière ou une manœuvre quelconque ayant eu pour objet ou pour résultat de frauder ou de compromettre le recouvrement de droits ou de taxes prévus au présent code.
