Article 379 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

Unless the president orders otherwise of his own motion or at the request of the public prosecutor or the parties, no mention shall be made in the minutes either of the replies of the accused or of the content of the depositions, without prejudice, however, to the execution of article 333 concerning additions, changes or variations in witness statements.

A moins que le président n’en ordonne autrement d’office ou sur la demande du ministère public ou des parties, il n’est fait mention au procès-verbal, ni des réponses des accusés, ni du contenu des dépositions, sans préjudice, toutefois, de l’exécution de l’article 333 concernant les additions, changements ou variations dans les déclarations des témoins.
