Article 422-24 of the French Cinema and Moving Image Code

Production aid may not have the effect of bringing the total amount of public financial aid:
1° For feature-length cinematographic works, audiovisual works and video games, to more than 50% of the final production cost of the work;
2° For feature-length cinematographic works and difficult or low-budget audiovisual works within the meaning, respectively, of Articles 211-21 and 311-19, to more than 60% of the final production cost of the work;
3° For difficult long-form or low-budget cinematographic works covered by article 211-22, to more than 70% of the final production cost of the work;
4° For short-length cinematographic works, to more than 80% of the final production cost of the work.

Article 422-24

Les aides à la production ne peuvent avoir pour effet de porter le montant total des aides financières publiques :
1° Pour les œuvres cinématographiques de longue durée, les œuvres audiovisuelles et les jeux vidéo, à plus de 50 % du coût définitif de production de l’œuvre ;
2° Pour les œuvres cinématographiques de longue durée et les œuvres audiovisuelles difficiles ou à petit budget au sens, respectivement, des articles 211-21 et 311-19, à plus de 60 % du coût définitif de production de l’œuvre ;
3° Pour les œuvres cinématographiques de longue durée difficiles ou à petit budget relevant de l’article 211-22, à plus de 70 % du coût définitif de production de l’œuvre ;
