Article 424 of the French Civil Code

The future protection agent incurs liability for the exercise of his mandate under the conditions provided for in Article 1992.

The person authorised pursuant to the provisions of Section 6 of Chapter II of this Title shall be liable to the represented person for the exercise of the authorisation granted to him, under the same conditions.

Le mandataire de protection future engage sa responsabilité pour l’exercice de son mandat dans les conditions prévues à l’article 1992.

La personne habilitée en application des dispositions de la section 6 du chapitre II du présent titre engage sa responsabilité à l’égard de la personne représentée pour l’exercice de l’habilitation qui lui est conférée, dans les mêmes conditions.
