Article 461 of the French Customs Code

The Committee invites the taxpayer to submit, within thirty days, any written observations that it deems useful to present in support of its request for a settlement, or to present oral observations at the meeting to which it will be invited. To present his observations, the taxpayer may be assisted or represented by an advisor or representative of his choice who is bound by professional secrecy with regard to the facts of the case.

Le comité invite le redevable à produire, dans un délai de trente jours, les observations écrites que celui-ci juge utile de présenter à l’appui de sa demande de transaction, ou à présenter des observations orales à la séance où il sera convié. Pour présenter ses observations, le redevable peut se faire assister ou représenter par un conseil ou représentant de son choix tenu pour les faits de l’espèce au respect du secret professionnel.
