Article 534 of the French Code of civil procedure

A person who legally represented a party may, in the event of termination of his functions and if he has a personal interest, exercise the recourse in his name. The appeal is equally open against him.

Celui qui représentait légalement une partie peut, en cas de cessation de ses fonctions et s’il y a un intérêt personnel, exercer le recours en son nom. Le recours est pareillement ouvert contre lui.
